IS Department Linux Software

IS department courses and labs utilize a variety of software packages. This page lists those packages and gives installation instructions. The purpose of listing here, on a website, is to make it easy for installers to find up-to-date information, and easy for faculty to verify the current instructions, and easy for students to install identical or similar software on their computers at home.
