Faculty and Staff Positions
The School of Computing and the Department of Computer Science at
Brigham Young University invite applications for the following
positions. Formal announcement of these and all other BYUH positions
is located at the Human Resource Services web site at http://www.byuh.edu/hrs/.
Brigham Young University Hawaii invites faculty applications at all
levels for one permanent position in Computer Science in its School of
Computing. Position begins August 21, 2002. Review of applications is
ongoing and will continue until the position is filled.
Applicants must have demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching
with competency to teach in a reasonable number of computer science
subject areas, and demonstrated ability to pursue a research program.
A Ph.D. in field is preferred, but an MS or ABD with relevant
experience will also be considered. (more

Brigham Young University Hawaii invites applications for one permanent
position doing system administration and teaching
programming in the Computer Science department in its School of
Computing. Position begins immediately. Review of applications is
ongoing and will continue until the position is filled.
Applicants must have demonstrated skill in open-source (linux/unix)
system administration, computer programming, and teaching, and
excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A bachelors degree
is required. A masters degree or better in CS is strongly preferred.
